Delphine Bedel is an artist, lecturer, curator and publisher, who specialised in emerging practices in photography, design and publishing.
She is the founder of Meta/Books and the Amsterdam Art/Book Fair, as well as Member of the Advisory Board of the Mondriaan Fonds and the German Photography Academy (DFA). Known for her cutting-edge publications, her award-winning editorial work includes over 100 books.
She has lectured, served as jury member and portfolio reviewer for museum and festivals including Centre Pompidou, Musée National d’Art Moderne Paris, Rencontres d’Arles, Stedelijk Museum and Unseen Amsterdam, Rosphoto Museum Saint Petersburg, Photobookfest Moscow, Bieler Fototage, EyeEm Festival Berlin and Plat(f)form / FotoMuseum Winterthur. She is a PhD Researcher at UCA – University for the creative Arts (UK) and teaches at the Piet Zwart Institute and the Design Academy Eindhoven (NL).
