IMG_7951SF-webMichelle Kasprzak is a curator and writer. She has appeared in Wired UK, on radio and TV broadcasts by the BBC and CBC, and lectured at the Boijmans Museum, Nottingham Contemporary, and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, among others. She has written critical essays for HOLO, Volume, C Magazine, Rhizome, CV Photo, Public, Mute, and many other media outlets. She also founded one of the world’s leading art curating blogs, (2006-2015).

Most recently, Michelle curated No Limit, a show of new work by UBERMORGEN at the Kasseler Kunstverein. Michelle has held a range of curatorial roles at organizations such as V2_ Institute for Unstable Media, the Dutch Electronic Art Festival (DEAF), and New Media Scotland.

Michelle is currently a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto & Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute, as well as a docent in the Open Design Minor programme at Willem de Kooning Academy. In her spare time, Michelle is a novice runner and an avid weightlifter with personal records of 85kg squat, 52.5 bench press, and 90kg deadlift.
