This Fall Willem de Kooning Academy hosts 39 foreign students from art schools across the globe – partners in WdKA's extensive international network.
These students, now here for an exchange projects, were officially welcomed on September 11, 2007.
We interviewed two of them: Cédric Paquotte from Geneva/Switzerland, and Jordi Ferrando from Barcelona/Spain. Earlier this summer we spoke with Sayaka Yorio from Tokyo/Japan – after having finished her exchange project here this Spring she decided not to go back to Japan, but to continue studying at WdKA…
Many of the participants of the MA courses at WdKA's Piet Zwart Institute come from abroad. This goes as well for art historian Vanessa Ohlraun from Berlin/Germany: as of September 1, 2007 she is the new 'course director' of PZI's MA Fine Art.
