The research platform 'Communication in a Digital Age' of the Piet Zwart Institute cordially invites everyone to present media and design projects at the Second BarCamp Rotterdam. Whether you are a student, a designer (freelance or in a company, professional/non-professional, commercial or non-commercial), an artist, a software developer, someone with a media, Internet or design project: This will be your speaker's corner and opportunity to meet other people.

A bar camp is an open source/open participation/'unconference' for presenting new media projects, a collective speaker's corner for media people. Designers, artists, activists can come, sign up on the schedule and give a presentation. No pre-registration is required.

This BarCamp will be hosted in Rotterdam's spacious 'Doelen' building and be an unofficial – yet freely accessible – part of the European Design Festival 2010. There will be 2-3 presentation screens and free catering for all participants.

Participants can sign-up for presentations between 17:30 and 18:00 h.
