Krauss earned his Diplom (MA) from the University of Hildesheim in 1996 (Applied Cultural Science and Practical Aesthetics. His solo retrospective exhibition ‘Das is heute Möglich,’ opened at the Kunstverein, Cologne in 2012, and his solo exhibition ‘We Continue BBDG’ opened at the Tensta Konsthall in Sweden in 2013 He has and will participate in group exhibitions at the same venue (2012 and 2013). He has produced work for the Stockholm Festival of Music and Arts (2013) as well as ARTE-TV Germany (2011). He was a nominee for the 2013 Absolut Vodka Art Award and has been the recipient of a number of grants and residencies, including at Bard College, NY; IASPIS, Stockholm; and Künstlerhäuser Worpswede. Krauss was external examiner at Konstfack in Stockholm, external tutor at NOVIA Yrkeshögskolan/Jakobstad in Finland, and, with artist Nina Svensson, has developed innovative pedagogical projects for Tensta Konsthall/Stockholm, Gävle Konstcenter/Sweden, NOVIA Yrkeshögskolan/Jakobstad,,and SkvadEnn Gymnasium-Sundsvall/Sweden.
